Maybe a lot... Maybe nothing!

Maybe a website just says that a company knows someone who builds cool websites. After all, you don’t really know who designed this, who wrote the copy, or if any of what you read here is really true.

There’s no such thing as an Internet fact checker.

You won’t see us on Facebook. We don’t Tweet. We don’t Foursquare. We know how to do all these things, and we’re into all that technology – but we also feel that your planning partner needs to understand the value of discretion. In large part, the value that we bring to your meetings is our invisibility. Our client list is really nobody’s business except our client’s. We’re very proud of our client partners and we’re anxious to share with you. We just prefer not to share it with the Internet.

With all that in mind; you’ve got to start somewhere and a website is as good of a place as any. Our goal is to give you a snapshot of ONYX - enough of a snapshot, that you’ll call us and we can talk about a potential partnership on your meetings and events. Take a look around. We hope you’ll give us a call and give us the opportunity to be a valued partner.

In case you don’t read any further, here are 3 good reasons to work with ONYX:

  1. Our Track Record
  2. Price Transparency
  3. Depth of Service

We hire the best...

Our meeting planners, as well as our on-site staff, will bring a wealth of experience to your meetings and events. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies from multiple industries. ONYX is not a “one-trick pony.” We work with franchise organizations, national sales groups, for-profit, not-for-profit, professional organizations and government organizations. We've worked with companies from the casual dining, pharmaceutical, financial and service industries to name just a few, as well as universities and government groups.

We manage meetings in North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. Our resume includes meetings for as few as 10 people and as many as 6,000.

Our reference list is available and we would encourage you to contact anyone listed. We’ll give you contact information for every client we have if you’d like. We’ll gladly sink or swim based on the word of our clients, and any partner you’re considering should do the same.

In short – We Get It. We know how important every meeting is. Not just the big ones; but every meeting.

This is What We Do...

So this is the tough part. Normally, what we would do here is list all the meeting elements that we routinely handle as part of our management fee. Here’s our issue with lists: What if we don’t list the one item that you’ve come here to find? If we try to provide a summary, that can be insufficient for some, while a detailed list can be a bit overwhelming. This is what you could refer to as the proverbial “horns of a dilemma.”

Here’s the basic ONYX approach to roles and responsibilities:

If a meeting element is not content-related, we assume it is our responsibility, and included within the scope of our management fee.

Pretty simple.

Need more detail? We can send you a complete list. But really, we’ve done everything including indoor cash cannons, tradeshows, European castle dinners, game shows, massive car rallies, NASCAR Client Events... to name a few. Of course we do all the normal stuff too, like rooming lists and ground transportation. Those things, though equally important, are just not as exciting.
